My son is still having occasional bouts of croup at 8 years old (when he was

still having it at 5, they said THAT was unusually old to have croup). The last

time was only last week, but we managed to avoid the hospital. We did go to the

hospital in the middle of the night just a couple of months ago now.

I had never even wondered if there was a connection between that and the gastro

problems. I believe that my son had his first gastro problems BEFORE his first

croup episode, but I'm not sure.
