Guest guest
Here is the NY Times version ( the Boston Globe is owned by the NY Times.) It is interesting also that in this version, there is talk of work with other " mushrooms " which produced altered mental states or for use in obstetrics. No mention of allergy, immunology, etc. There was only the undisputed fact of cause and effect. It is amazing that others can neglect to include the effect of mold on the brain and a diagnosis becomes a " behavioral " issue rather than a " medical " issue. It was also generally medically accepted, to " reasonable degrees of medical certainty " when many of the rock stars of the 60's and 70's used LSD, the brain was permanently altered. It was NOT referred to as a " reactive " issue with the body. It was BRAIN damage. Pure and simple. And the agent was one formulated from MOLD! No doc would controvert such a diagnosis. They can put " THAT in their pipes and smoke it! " Sorry, I could not help myself. ;-))) 2008 © Objet: Albert Hofmann, the Father of LSD, Dies at 102 - New York Times Date: Wed, 30 Apr 2008 13:28:39 -0400 http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/30/world/europe/30hofmann.html?ref=obituaries & pag\ ewanted=print __________________________________________________
