Fallon and cardiologist....Darlene, any comments/suggestions?

Well, I spoke to the hospital today and Fallon will not go back to PT until

she is reevaluated by cardiology for cardiovascular problems. (She was only

going to PT for gait endurance, nothing else...) She is unable to walk on the

treadmill, ride the stationary bicycle or walk for more than a few minutes w/o

getting extremely lightheaded. They don't feel it is low blood pressure

because she has another symptoms she gets for that... They don't think it is

vestibular and feel it is probably related to the blood vessels not dilating

properly in her brain....we already know that the main artery that goes up and

around her brain is not formed properly an it has 2 pieces of teflon between

it and her brain stem to relieve pressure (compression) on the brain stem and

the artery.

Right now she has appt on Feb 22, but the cardiologist is going to call me

today and talk to me about her. PT's biggest concern is any provoking IF it

is cardiovascular could cause more damage....

Has anyone had a confirmation of these complications and if so are there any

meds she can take for this that I could ask the docs about??? HELP me if you

can, please...

DOES IT EVER END???? I know the answer to that already, I just thought I

would throw that question out to relieve stress!!!
