Guest guest
This is an area of research where the science is moving very fast and it's about time. I am so grateful for Dr. Poling's article and for his insight. The CDC can no longer deny a link between vaccinations and autism. The Hannah Poling case has had a huge impact on the autistic community and studies will be demanded. Are vaccinations causing mitochondrial dysfunctions? What impact does it have on our susceptibility to mold? 31 March 2008 Hannah Poling Autism-Vaccine Case: Implications for ME/CFS-labelled patients By Lara Abstract When Hannah Poling was 19 months old she was administered 9 vaccines simultaneously and just 48 hours afterwards, her health began to deteriorate. She developed a fever and her temperature soared to 38.9° C. She cried inconsolably, was irritable, lethargic and refused to walk. Over the next 4 months her growth and movement decreased, rashes appeared on her abdomen and she began to display autistic behaviours including fixation on television, poor eye contact, spinning and disrupted sleep. Tests and muscle biopsy carried out by her father (a neurologist at Hopkins University in the USA) and his colleagues indicated specific genetic mutations in her mitochondrial DNA (mt-DNA), Type 1 muscle fibre atrophy and abnormal levels of various metabolic products in her blood stream (elevated lactic acid, serum creatine kinase level, and aspartate aminotransferase). The findings were published in the Journal of Clinical Pathology along with a retrospective study of 159 other ASD patients. [1] Hannah's parents applied for vaccine damages in order to pay for the `one-to-one' specialist care that she will probably require for the rest of her life. In 2007, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) made the decision to award the Poling family compensation from the federal vaccine injury fund after they conceded that immunisations given to her at 19 months old had aggravated a rare underlying mitochondrial condition that resulted in a brain disorder `with features of autism spectrum disorder'. http://www.theoneclickgroup.co.uk/documents/ME-CFS_docs/Hannah% 20Poling,%20Autism%20and%20ME%20CFS.pdf
Guest guest
I have seen McCarthy on several shows trying to get help for her son with autism. One thing she talked about was how she put her son on yeast free diet and it help some. I saw her on Chelsy Lately one night and she was asking everyone who watched to demand the firing of that woman that is the head of the CDC. Gebling or something like that is her last name. McCarthy has the same passion that we have trying to make change and get awareness how bad the system is for the unpopular illnesses. >
