My son is having surgery in Jan at TCI...anyone have this done?

I just got the call today. Dr. Milhorat, himself will be doing the

surgery. We will be getting the call for the date, sometime in early

or mid-January. Thank you, Jesus, the Divine Physician! We originally

were scheduled for Dec 29 & 30 for evaluation and would have had to

come home and wait until surgery was scheduled.

This is what I was told today:

There are a few surgical options that may be available which could

include Invasive Cervical Traction/Craniocervical Fusion or Invasive

Cervical Traction/Cord Detethering.

Anyone have experience with these surgeries? I would like all the

feedback I can get on them. This is all so new to us and I'd like to

know what he's in for and what to expect afterwards.
