Holly-

Thank you for jumping in. Yes, the poll is now closed and

the dates were voted on. I appreciate that there are some members that want

to be at the gathering and due to schedules won't be able to make it. I

would love to have as many people as possible there.

I shall keep your suggestions as to possible locations. They do seem to

make sense to me, if we are figuring in how many people are from the central

U.S.

-- The gathering

Sandie, This is Holly and I know that I haven't been a part of the

group for very long, nor have I posted in some time, but I have been keeping

up on the posts about the gathering and now am confused. I was certain that

the date had been set for the first weekend, isn't the poll now closed? And

if it is, it sure seems that these posts coming in now about changing the

date would only add more pressure to your already difficult task. Everyone

had an opportunity to vote on the 'when', we should focus on the 'where' of

it now. And since you were asking for suggestions/ideas of the 'where' to

have the gathering, this is my thought.....I know that we have 1 or 2 CG

coming from other countries, I believe California, Florida, Texas and Mass.

5 people from the upper midwest (including Courage), so it seems the best

choices would be Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Southern Michigan. This is

just my 2 cents for what it is worth. Thanks for everything you do!

After things are absolutely written in stone, then I will see if i can put

together a practical means of attending. I will fly, in and out quickly, and do

not need to have anymore input until you get things settled.

I couldn't sign up because the location and dates are the deciding factors.

So, I am a definite maybe once things are settled.

I don't know if there are others in the same boat.

I only put in my 2 cents to help out the southern drivers.
