NCC - Aspen Collar and Medicare

Does anyone with Medicare know how frequently you can get your neck

collar replaced and paid for by Medicare?

I have been going in circles talking to Medicare and 2 different

Orthotics about replacing my worn/stretched Aspen Collar. No one can

tell me if it can be replaced at 6 months or 1 year. I'm just told I

have to get it, bill Medicare and wait and see if they pay. This is

preposterous.

I am at my wits end trying to do this kind of stuff. I can't think

worth a darn and it seems like no one in the medical community can help

with the most basic question. It is so frustrating for someone like me

when I am unable to think and I have no one to help do these things.

Anyone on Medicare ever get their Aspen collar replaced? Did you have

to wait for a certain time?
