Guest guest
Hi Carole, It sounds to me that you may very well need T3 directly. What are your current labs? Some of us do NOT convert the T4 meds into T3 that the body needs. Brain and aching symptoms are common in patients with inadequate T3. So going from T4 med to T4 med may not be helpful. If your doc does not test Free T3 then you will keep having more bad symptoms. What are you doing for the low insulin? I have been dealing with hypoglycemia most of my life (high normal insulin and low normal glucose) and then all of a sudden my insulin dropped. Any tips you may have is appreciated. To good health and keeping it, ~Bj > > I have been put on Levoxyl due to celiac sprue and am currently trying to lose the 6 pounds I gained over the Christmas. I also have celiac sprue and low insulin. Anyone on list know if losing weight is the cause of my aching and difficulty remembering things? I will call my dr to see if she can prescribe the med Tirosint instead of the one I'm taking because apparently Levoxyl isn't the only thyroid med which is gluten free. > > > > > Carole >
