Would you say the spot where you collected the tape lift is like the

rest of the house, limited to that room, or limited to a smaller

spot?

Other information is needed to answer your questions.

I've seen lab data with extremely high levels of Stachy on a tape

lift that was collected from a spot about 1 inch in diameter. Yet,

the person who sampled declared the whole house was

contaminated and they should move out immediately. On the

other hand I've seen (and I've collected) samples that show very

low levels but the people are sick because the mold is hidden or

otherwise not detectable by sampling. Also, at least half the time

there are triggers in addition to mold. So only removing mold

doesn't stop the reactions.

The meaning of mold samples is determined by the inspection

and assessment. In fact, no samples should be taken until there

has been a thorough inspection and assessment to determine if

mold sampling can answer the questions. Without a proper

determination of meaning before sampling we are left only with

interpreting numbers. What is the meaning of " 1 " or " 100 " or

" 100,000,000? " Interpreting numbers only has a name. That

name is numerology.
