Guest guest
Dear Group, This post is in response to Marc Berry's recent post about his postsurgical problems after Dr. Milhorat's surgery. I feel very bad about what Marc is going through. However, I would like to remind those of you who have upcoming appointments or surgery dates with Dr. Milhorat that there are still Dr. Milhorat success stories out here. My daughter had his surgery in July of 1998 and it has literally given her back her life. Trena is now 17 and doing almost everything she should be doing at this age. Dr. Milhorat's surgery worked on her while her 2 previous " conventional " decompressions did not. In my book, Dr. Milhorat is still one of the most knowledgeable and experienced Chiari neurosurgeons around. ---Muriel Muriel (California), mother of Trena, 17, ACM I, 3 decompression surgeries (1/95 & 5/97 at UCLA; 7/21/98--Dr. Milhorat, Long Island College Hospital) ------------------------------------------------------------------------
