Guest guest
That is great news! I wish everyone could get such a response from the media and there community to let people know that kids get arthritis too! People can be so one sided about things. I love to hear good stories as I am working desperately to raise awareness here in our small town in NC and people are not resonding. Good going! I know you are excited! Congratulations! and Kaylee, now poly, 3 on the News Hello All- Just a quick note to tell you that we were contacted by our local Arthritis Chapter here in Palm Beach Florida about the upcoming walk this weekend. They asked me if and I would be interested in doing a piece for them to raise awareness for JRA that kids do in fact get Arthritis too. Since Palm Beach county is 90% 75 years plus, they wanted to focus this years walk on the fact that it is a childs disease too. Well, ABC local affiliate grabbed the story and came to our house to do a piece on 's story. We will be on the news Tomm. Wed. the 12th at 5 pm for anybody who lives local to the area. Hopefully we are not the only ones out there thats local chapter is focusing on JRA. Awareness is so important and although I don't post often, you are all my lifeline to this disease and I am grateful to be hear and share this news with you all! Best wishes to all of you and to your local chapter upcoming walks! Tara and 3 (poly)

Guest guest
Hi Tara, How wonderful! It's very exciting, to hear about all the goings-on from around the world and to be re-assured that so many individuals and families are out there doing their part and are as dedicated and compassionate about the cause (spreading awareness of juvenile arthritis). You and will be in our thoughts tomorrow. Aloha, Georgina Re: on the News --Tara, WTG on getting the word out... how did the segment turn out??? hugs Helen and (8,systemic) - In , " tara2002amanda " <bambam31900@a...> wrote: > > Hello All- > > Just a quick note to tell you that we were contacted by our local > Arthritis Chapter here in Palm Beach Florida about the upcoming walk > this weekend.
