Guest guest Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 Members, It's always a good idea and I don't want to discourage anyone in their attempt to bring this issue more into the main stream. Everything that has been mentioned here as far as addressing B., which has been done several times, Bianca Jagger, which she had been involved several years ago and even participated with many other advocates in Washington,DC. What's happened to both of these people now I don't know. Oprah, the word has it from what I understand one reason why she may not discuss or address this issue is because supposedly one of her homes in Florida was contaminated with mold and some of her staff became ill, which resulted in litigation. Being persistant never hurt anyone. I would appreciate anyone that may be writting letters, at the same time stating they represent Sickbuildings to run that by me first please. I'm sure it will be ok, but also to make sure the facts are straight. The reasoning behind this is in the past we have had people stating they represent Sickbuildings and ticked off a few people by their approach. There have been many of us that have been doing this now for at least 10 years, we know who the players are, who are the showboaters, puffers, etc., we need the ones that will not hesitate to take action in a professional manner. I don't have the time right now to work on any letters, but I will be more than happy to review them and most likely give them a thumbs up. We know at times being sick this can be very difficult but we need many others to help us take the bull by the horns. Many have promised, few have followed through.
