I wanted to pass this info on to you. I think it is a great idea!

My non for profit organization Celebrate Differences has teamed up

with Powerkidsevents . One of the things Powerkids offers is a

magazine for kids by kids. Currently they distribute 10,000 copies

per month. They are wanting to dedicate their July issue to kids

with disabilities - to spotlight their talents. They are looking for

articles and pictures. Siblings are invited to share a story about

their experience with disabilities as well.

If the kids had an audience, what would they want the world to know?

June 1, 2008 is the deadline for submissions.

There are three ways of submitting articles.

1. You can go to www.powerkidsevents.com and upload. Click on the

creative kids tab. The link is below for ease of reference

The document needs to be in word or written long hand depending on

how

it is submitted. The pictures Jpeg. We reserve the right to do minor

edits, so pdf will not work for the articles. Drawings, artwork,

cartoons etc can be in pdf.

This is going to be an amazing issue so get your pictures, stories

whatever submitted so we can show everyone how talented our kids

are! How excited our kids would be to see their story or picture in

a magazine!
