Brockovich

Hi Friends,

I know we are on lock-down, I wanted to tell you I

just wrote an e-letter to Brockovich. I wrote it

on my behalf but also on the behalf of the group, and

I gave her the email. I hope that was

ok and within the rules and I did not offend anyone.

We had talked about composing a letter to her and

oprah and who else? oh, including Bianca Jagger. I

can barely think but I'm a good writer and I did the

best I could to explain the situation. I referred her

to Dr. Shoemaker and his book, for research. I

reflected what we said in our emails, that what we and

I need, like yesterday, are " safe " homes, schools, and

public buildings, so we can start to heal and get our

lives back. I asked for tough legal regulations on

the construction of these buildings, regulations set

by those who work with those who are ill with this,

like Dr. Shoemaker. I also said secondarily,

financial compensation for our losses, would be nice.

In addition I mentioned that EI and mold illness are

sisters, and explained as your body gets a large dose

of mold you tend to become more sensitive to other

environmental toxins, even incapacitated by them, and

so I said my dream and hope is for tough legal

regulations passed like they have in Germany, where in

addition to mold prevention, houses and other

buildings must be constructed using non-toxic building

materials.

I gave my phone number and talked about my personal

story a bit.

Again, I hope I did not cross any boundaries. I just

desperately need help and I know you all do too, and

need our lives back. And there is so much knowledge

between all of us that I just didn't have.

So, we may get contacted by the lady herself.
