Guest guest
yes, it's made from a milk sugar, can cause gas and I'm not 100% sure but if one has a yeast issue, I believe it feeds the yeast but at least a milk sugar and not a volitile chemical. Olive oil is a good alternative to soften the stool also. It also turns the stool orange, or at least the liquid around it becomes orange. Overall, it was okay, we stopped using b/c of the tummy discomfort from the gas. To: miralax Sent: Tue, April 17, 2012 8:04:09 PMSubject: Re: What's A Person To Do? Here I am responding to my own post. I have been reading about something called lactulose. It appears to be a safe alternative to Miralax. Does anyone have any experience with this product? It's a prescription item in the US but not for those who live in Canada.
