Guest guest
I have two Austin Air Cleaners and during this allergy season I was having terrible trouble with allergies and after trying a number of things, finally tried turning my air cleaners off and problems I was having stopped. I can't believe it! How could it be that my $500.00 air cleaners would be exaserbating my allergies, rather than helping. The hepa filters and charcoal cartridge in them would only be a year old. I think they say it should last 5 years. Is it possible the filters need changing already??, or perhaps do 'you' think air cleaners are guilty only of churning up the air. I was not sitting near them. They emit a slight sweet smell, like sweet almonds or something, have zeolite and activated charcoal filter and hepa filter. Could charcoal particles or zeolite be flying around room and irritating me does anyone think? Has anyone else had an experience like this? I actually have not done that well with them. I like the way room smells, sweet smell, and their whirling sound but not sure they are helping or not. Thanks...barb
