my oxygen concentrator has gone kaput, any ideas?

A few months back I went to the Dr. for a long lasting sore throat (again) and

this time they decided it was because the air from my oxygen concentrator is too

drying for my throat. I am on oxygen at night as my levels drop so low I could

die in my sleep. So the company came and put an plastic thing on it (I know no

plastic) and some distilled water which did clear up the sore throat but the

machine has slowly put out less and less air since this attachment was added.

Last night I had to use up a whole bottle of regular oxygen. Today I called and

got the run around as usual. My insurance tells me that it is under warranty

and the oxygen company should fix it. They carried me 3 more bottles of oxygen

and some new plastic bottles to attach to the machine. In my brain fog I am

very confused about how to fix this problem. I was wondering about putting some

highly diluted vinegar in to unclog it? I suspect that I failed ot use

distilled water at one point. Does anyone

have any experience with this problem?

I dread the night and falling asleep now.
