Guest guest
I believe the other flavor is cherry, if magnesium works for you, Kirkman labs makes magnesium in all different variations, i.e. oxide etc. they also make it in liquid or chewable http://www.enzymestuff.com/magnesium.htm--- Subject: Milk of MagnesiaTo: miralax Date: Saturday, December 6, 2008, 11:49 AM I started my son (23 mos.) on MOM 3 days ago and it's been verysuccessful. Guest guest
My husband bought the flavored kind once b/c the store he stopped at was out of plain MOM and we didn't want to miss a dose . . . my son did like it better than the plain, but I did not like all the additional 'inactive' ingredients it has in it compared with the original (unflavored). I used to mix a little bit of " Ahhhlaska " brand chocolate syrup in with the plain MOM and my son find that to be better. hth! > > I started my son (23 mos.) on MOM 3 days ago and it's been very > successful. Guest guest
We started with the strawberry version and my three year old runs screaming from it. We had to pin him down to take it. Awful! So, just bought natural calm last night to try instead and mix into juice. I don't think you'd use both, would you? > > I started my son (23 mos.) on MOM 3 days ago and it's been very > successful. Guest guest
Is magnesium something you are using every day? I’m confused –we were using the mag citrate every day until now, when we’ve had this huge back up. The doc said daily use of mag citrate will shut down his colon and the colon will become dependent on it. Is there another form of mag that we can use daily that won’t cause this? Thanks - From: miralax [mailto:miralax ] On Behalf Of jeanie ward Sent: Saturday, December 06, 2008 8:06 PM To: miralax Subject: Re: Milk of Magnesia I believe the other flavor is cherry, if magnesium works for you, Kirkman labs makes magnesium in all different variations, i.e. oxide etc. they also make it in liquid or chewable http://www.enzymestuff.com/magnesium.htm From: smelkell Subject: Milk of Magnesia To: miralax Date: Saturday, December 6, 2008, 11:49 AM I started my son (23 mos.) on MOM 3 days ago and it's been very successful. Guest guest
This is all so frustrating. I thought one major concern is that Miralax can cause lazy colon. Now it wounds like natural remedies like magnesium products can do this as well? > > > Subject: Milk of Magnesia > To: miralax > Date: Saturday, December 6, 2008, 11:49 AM > > I started my son (23 mos.) on MOM 3 days ago and it's been very > successful.
