Guest guest
did you try cutting the dose in half? Subject: Re: how many kirkman's chewable pro-bio wafers can you give a day?To: miralax Date: Sunday, December 7, 2008, 7:15 PM I consulted a nutritionist about this issue because after my threeyear old was finally having normal bowel function it turned toexplosive diarrhea and the only thing he was taking was probiotics. Healso suffers from terrible bloating. She said probiotics can causeeither in excessive doses or if it is a strain they are sensitive to.We switched to try a new one to see if it makes a difference.> > > > > > > > From: kellyocee <kellyocee@ ..>> > > > Subject: how many kirkman's chewable pro-bio wafers > can > > > you give a day?> > > > To: miralax@yahoogroups .com> > > > Date: Monday, December 1, 2008, 10:23 AM> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > my son is 3. i have been giving him one per day, but > wondering if > > > that > > > > is not enough. is it possible to overdose on probiotics?> > > > > > > > thanks, kelly> > > >> > >> >>
Guest guest
that's awesome ! Subject: Re: how many kirkman's chewable pro-bio wafers can you give a day?To: miralax Date: Monday, December 8, 2008, 7:42 AM my son is 3 and i have been giving him 2 kirkmans wafers per day since last monday. he pooped on the potty five times this week, including yesterday, which was diarrhea, so i am going to cut back to 1 tablet per day and see how that goes. i do believe it has helped him, but i think now that he has had enough to repelenish his system and i should back down on the dose. thanks for your info. what probiotics did you use? which ones are you switching to?thanks, kelly> > > > > > > > > > From: kellyocee <kellyocee@ ..>> > > > > Subject: how many kirkman's chewable pro-bio wafers > > can > > > > you give a day?> > > > > To: miralax@yahoogroups .com> > > > > Date: Monday, December 1, 2008, 10:23 AM> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > my son is 3. i have been giving him one per day, but > > wondering if > > > > that > > > > > is not enough. is it possible to overdose on probiotics?> > > > > > > > > > thanks, kelly> > > > >> > > >> > >> >>
Guest guest
We just saw the holistic nutritionist yesterday. When I told her that probiotics made our ds bloated and gassy, she said the same things at Jeanie – cut it down. We’ll be back on them soon at 1/16 t and upping as it colonizes.
