Thanks BJ! Still slowly getting better and better with the natural thyroid meds (compared to my "zombie" state on synthroid)...I am going to be working on detoxing my body and eating better...my son's health is improving now (he had several kidney stones and had to have some removed) and so now I can focus on my health again. The chiropractor said not to take the B vitamins after 5pm or else I wouldn't be able to sleep at night! And he said to take the iron right before bed. Any thoughs on that?

Thanks so much!!

Hi ,Nice to hear from you, I hope all is well. I would take the B vitamins at the same time as the iron. For best iron absorption take iron on an empty stomach with the supporting nutrients such as vitamins A, B complex and C, along with folic acid, copper, manganese and molybdenum. They are all needed for complete iron absorption. Avoid using excessive amounts of calcium, zinc and vitamin E, which can interfere with iron absorption. Warm wishes,~Bj>> > Hello Everyone!> I am making changes for my health and I have a question. The best man in our wedding 16 years ago went to Chiropractic school and moved back to our hometown and opened up a Chiropractic business. He is focussing on wellness. I took my recent health fair blood results to him and he found that I was low in all my B vitamins and in Iron and he's going to have me do a liver detox as my liver numbers were high. I fogot to ask him...can I take my B vitamins an hour after my thyroid meds in the morning (Natual thyroid) or do I need to wait until lunch time? He said not to take them after 5pm...and I take the iron before I go to bed.> > I find it interesting that none of the MDs I have been to, or endochronologist, ever talked about stuff like this!!! Just "synthroid and you'll be better", my Chiropractor friend said there's so much more to it than that!!!!> > I am so excited that I am doing something to improve my health...improve my cells so that the thyroid medication can be better absorbed in the cells. He said, right now, with the low iron, the oxygen in not being carried in the cells (or something like that). I am just really trying to improve my situation.> Thanks!> >
