I want to sit and write a nice post but catching up is catching up on me.... It’s past 1a.m.... Am resending this as it bounced from your own address...???

Just quickly – you mentioned a tumour .... Benign?? How was the CT scan, did it shed any further light?? Tumour removal can be variable, sometimes a little can be somewhere else, or remain, and develop, so it’s not a hard-and-fast fix...but I’m sure you know this.... It’s hard to face something like this.

I am slowly (to slowly for my liking) recovering being so unwell, and the effects of 14 days IV abx, strong meds!!! The CT scan the day b4 (the reason was admitted to hospital) showed all lobes, both sides with cysts, so guess for me bronch is at a fairly advanced stage, well beyond a check-up and getting well.... This last infx brought the reality into clearer focus of what is real anyway – that of our mortality, so I’ve started collecting the paperwork so I can do the things needed while I’m able. But it’s ok, I don’t have a death wish, I just don’t have a wish to endure this too many more times after half a century of doing so!!! Surely that’s understandable??

Good to hear you’re keeping up such amazing exercise, and things wonderful with our b.f. I hope you’re getting more time to see him when he’s between travels. You sound fit and well enough to travel yourself, maybe talk to your docs, see what would you need to take precautions, carry with you, etc to make travelling safer and easier.... Make the most while you can!!!
