Guest guest
llaci: 1) Economic value of molds as opposed to bacteria and virus, which have virtually little value in comparison, 2) The fear of the long held medical secrets of mold and mycotoxins relating to cancers and other serious diseases and the potential for substantial cures of " idiopathic " (unknown cause, unknown cure) diseases. This would mean that all those trillions of dollars raised through marathons, walks for the cure, march of dimes, etc., would not be nearly as great once the values of antifungal medicines (even in curing the common cold) were discovered to be highly effective nearly 50 years ago, and yet in the case of breast cancer; cut it out, cemotherapy it, and radiate it (the last two being all fungicidial medicine in composition (not bactericidal, or virucidal in composition) and a natural fungicide in nature, respectively. 3) Medical schools would have to start training doctors specifically about fungal exposures being pathogenic rather than allergenic in the treatment process. 4) Perhaps many thousands of often ineffective medicines might be replaced by a handful of antifungal medicines which could devastate the pharmaceutical community. There of course is much more to all of this, and at present it is only speculative at best. I have no crystal ball, only scientific supportive research that suggests that direction. Guest guest
Do you REALLY think it would do any good? They could not get me out of there fast enough. I can armed with photos of my home, mold test results, etc. They want NOTHING to do with the mold issue. I mentioned to several people about the presence of mold in their building. One physician actually admitted that part of the floor had been closed for " remodeling " not to long ago. Another nurse came after me asking me about what I smelled because they were all constantly sick. They do NOT want to address the problem, so in my opinion, filing a formal complaint would only go into the formal trash can. I am equally amazed at how many of my records were inaccurate. It has taken a lot just to get their physicians to correct the records. I called Rochester and they have a doctor who treats fungal infections, but only ones in the lungs. I am intrigued because there is what they call a " white spot " on one of my lungs, but they did no further investigating on what it could be.
