Not sure if you've heard of this book, Therese, but came to mind when reading

your post:

http://www.amazon.com/Everyday-Paleo--Fragoso/dp/098256581X

mind if I try to improve the family diet, but he wants it to taste like

restaurant food! HA! I think he's a bit spoiled. But I do need to find

something we all can eat because I am tired of frequently making my own food

separate from my kids. All your input is appreciated.

Hi ,

I did see that book, but then got scared away from ordering it due to a few

negative reviews. One of the comments was something like " she's (the author)

just a mom, not a chef " . But then, maybe that is all the more reason I should

get the book because " I'm just a mom " trying to feed my kids! Thanks for the

input.

I know all about Fragoso and I have her cookbook along with a few other

Paleo cookbooks. Here's what I think: her mom was a great cook and taught her

a lot about cooking. Isn't that enough? Do you need to go to school to become

a good cook? I think not. Anyway, I love a lot of her recipes, but she does

use some ingredients that I am not a fan of (ginger and curry in particular). I

love her recipes that don't contain them and haven't been brave enough to

subsitute ingredients or even just omit them. She has GREAT snack ideas for

kids. It would be a good book for you to start with.

I highly recommend Make it Paleo and Paleo Comfort Foods as well.

Good luck,
