Guest guest
We've done 2 MRIs with my 21 year old and both have come back normal. One was donr when she was 3 and the other when she was 19. She would be considered low functioning autism. MRI How many of you ever had this done? It says for the autism diagnosis a MRI or CT scan should be performed. Our neuro never did. Just wondering if we should go back & get it. I get so pissed that years later I'm having to chase down this crap. The only reason I'm considering is that it could open the door for greater insurance payment/other therapies such as HBOT, cord blood, etc. That to me makes it worth it, just wondering how many actually had any findings. Guest guest
I am an x-ray technologist and work closely with radiologists (drs who read imaging studies) I have never heard anything about this. As a matter of fact I have spoken with them about this a couple years ago and they said there is nothing that shows up on an MRI that would indicate autism.Subject: Re: MRITo: mb12 valtrex Date: Monday, October 13, 2008, 9:48 AM We've done 2 MRIs with my 21 year old and both have come back normal.
