Guest guest
I found this article online that I thought might be of interest and help. Especially in the discussion of how western toilets are made and the position they put us in when we sit on them. The article suggests placing a 4 inch stool in front of the toilet for the feet to rest on in order to give proper position for " the job at hand. " This also explains more about Valsalva Maneuvers, not as it relates to CM specifically, but I feel it would be helpful. Again, remember to avoid Valsalva Maneuvers! (and I'm preaching to myself here, as well!) It's easy to forget. These maneuvers can occur with swimming, weight lifting, urination, defecation and other activities. The article points out how many people die on the toilet due to cardiac arrest and stroke. This is how these maneuvers can affect us, and imagine how much more so if you have CM, flow issues, instability, etc. www.breathing.com/articles/valsalvas-maneuver.htm I do hope this helps!
