Guest guest
Ginny, Yes! That's what this is ALL about. Shutting down your rights to legal recourse when you are treated so badly. That is the intended purpose of the ACOEM mold statement. It was intended to be used in court to deny causation of our illnesses. That's why the US Chamber of Commerce spun that document even further to conclude that claims of poisoning from exposure in WDB's were simply a result of greedy trial lawyers, false media hype and Junk Science. If you have not read Grisham's new book " The Appeal " , you owe it to yourself to read it. It is about everyone of us on the board. Even you defensors that monitor this site. Although it is fiction, it is NOT fiction. The gist of the book is the buying of judicial positions, while misleading the general public by systematically marketing to them, that Tort Reform is for their benefit. Grisham did a masterful job of illustrating exactly how they have done this. A fictional organization in the book is the Commerce Council that works in conjunction with think-tanks and benign sounding non-profits to promote Tort Reform. Hmmmmm? Let's see? What organization could the Commerce Council possible be in real life? Sharon K In a message dated 5/23/2008 8:57:08 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, ginloi@... writes: This is a group to watch.
