Ronnie: Do you have any idea as what weight I am suppose to be here in Kentucky or how I can find out what weight I should be? BarbJerome Tuss wrote: Barbara- My doctor in Seattle told me I have to havea BMI-Body Mass Index of 30 in order to be consideredfor a transplant. I was close to it before I startedon the prednisone.....now I have about 30-40 pounds tolose. You can figure out your BMI by doing a search. Just type in Body Mass Index and yahoo will take youto a bunch of sights. It will lead you right throughthe process of figuring yours out. Don't getdepressed about it. I think we are all in the same"shape"....a joke! It's not so easy to lose weightwhen you can't get as much exercise as you'd likebecause you don't

have the energy and if you are likeme there is nothing to counteract the medicene theygive us. This website has helped to keep my spiritsup. I now know I'm not alone and there are otherpeople out there who are in a situation similar tomine. Thanks for being there and the support. Ronniep.s. If you find a diet that works other thanstapling our mouths shut, then let me know.--- Breathe-Support wrote:> There are 25 messages in this issue.> > Topics in this digest:> > 1.
