Guest guest Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 Hello my new bronch friends, Am I the only one who - Grew up being told to stay away from other kids because I would infect them... Siblings would rather you’re not around... couldn’t get through any school year without being off for long chunks... Spent school hols (and later) in hospital found it hard to stay in employment, always had too many ‘sick days’ off, came back to work, no job. And relationships – going nicely, til unwell just that little bit too long, they disappear - when you’re well enough, they’re gone... ? Being older, with crepey skin, lost muscle-tone, no tan (something that I recently found not a good combo with abx – sun, that is), too many side-effects, too many ‘don’t know’, pain, rashes, etc etc is somehow still easier, I don’t have to pretend I’m ‘successful’, I am involved in things I enjoy – for now. Later, who knows, it will change... That is for sure!
