Guest guest
(((((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))) Brava!!!!!!!! Another soapbox orator! Love it:) You are so fluent. Keep up the good work! Another one who has pushed the docs off the pedestal Feisty Re: Re: Test Results , I'm gonna jump up and down and say find a new doc.. get on meds.. depression is a sign of thyroid.. and so are the other things that you've listed. .... and in my opinion depression can be triggered just by being bummed out about being sick and not knowing why.. I just don't understand why they immediately have to put everyone on anti-depressants without even trying to find out what is going on... Depression doesn't have to be this new fangled fancy disease that is so IN to be medication for... IMHO Now.. we all know too that your other symptoms can also be other things.. but to me your lab results are showing numbers on the low side for your Frees... ....some one else jump in here with some opinions.. I'm not the only one here with a voice and needs to hear from more than just me. You know what? I'm starting to think that they are using anit-depressants as something to settle folks down and stretch things out.. makes more money for them 'cause we're gonna keep getting sicker but with the anti-depressants we won't have enough UMPH to fight them to treat us properly.... ....oh gosh.. I'm climbed back on my soap box again.. sorry about that.... Maybe we should have a closet here where we can put our soap boxes and then lock the door... heehehehehehhe Topper ()http://toppertwo.tripod.com On Tue, 27 May 2003 18:14:13 -0400 " " writes: I am fatigued to the point I haven't been to work for 3 weeks, drs trying to find out why. Of course the drs think that since I mentioned depression that it is all in my head and put me on anti-depressants. They are quick to do that, "just in case". I do have thyroid disease in my family. When did you do that and how do you feel now? Would you worry about the 6.2 level for my FT3 result? How long have you been back on Armour and how did you make the switch back? Guest guest
I went back starting about a month ago and the vote is still out as to how I feel. So far I have some hypo crept back in and BP is higher than it was, but I am mid-major hormone changes right now in preparation to seeing a new doctor at the end of April. By then I will be getting new labs and make a better decision as to if I am staying on Armour plus T3 or going back to all T3. I am currently on 3 grains Armoru and 50mcgT3 whihc seems ot work OK, I had tried 4 grains and 25mcg T3 but felt bad whne I dropped that last 25mcg T3 so went back. It has been a fairly smooth transition except for that. I am dosing by feel as I susually can do this pretty well with thyroid, and my temps have not moved from 98.6 average so that was good anyway. I had some brian fog creeping in a couple times and am having a horrid problem wiht muscle fatigue which I ma not sure what is causing but I do nto think it is thyroid related as I had this on all T3 as well. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

I'll watch carefully how you do before I make the switch back. .it sure would be alot cheaper as this Cytomel stuff is way too expensive. Thanks again Val and good luck on your Armour journey. Guest guest
Wow! How nice to see the support. Thank you guys. I did do some testing while off of everything completly for 3 weeks. TSH 2.879 0.350-5.500 T3,Free 2.4 2.3-4.2 T4,Free 1.05 0.61-1.76 Saliva Cortisol: 7am-8am: 11 13-24 11am-12: 5 5-10 4pm-5pm: 3 3-8 11pm-midnight: 2 1-4 Cortisol Burden: 21 23-42 (I know...what a mess I'm in, huh? I'm really suffering). I am currently taking only 1/2 grain of Westhroid. I am taking a supplement with licorice root, rhodiola, ashwahganda, ginseng & b vitamins. I take vitamin C, magnesium & celtic grey sea salt. Have you ever heard of anyone not being able to handle hc after being on it? I was on it for 2 1/2 years. Any advice? Do you know of anyone that is trying to heal their adrenals that is not on hc? Is there anyone I can talk to that is not on hc and doing okay? Thanks so much! Guest guest
Gayle~ You thyroid tests seem similar to mine. I plan on getting a saliva cortisol done as I never had one done only blood tests. It will be interesting to see how close they are to yours. Rhonda Re: Test Results Wow! How nice to see the support.
