Guest guest
We are using BNC Natural Detxo/Chelation protocol http://www.brainchildnutritionals.com/Detox_programx.html to chelate our son(6 yo)in addition to vitamins/minerals. We are seeing good continuous improvements with it, but wondering if anyone has any information on whether NDF+ /NCD cross the brain barrier to chelate metals from the brain or they just work in the body? If they don't - we are ready to add ALA which is known to cross the barrier to start chelating metals form the brain. Guest guest
Hi Vitaly, We did daily oral chelation on my son for about 60 days, and it caused a huge regression. It's a year later, and we've been talking to our DAN! about doing this again now that the yeast is under control. Our DAN! said that he believes the chelation causes the metals to come out of the connective tissue and other parts of the body, *first. Once the body is cleared, he believes the brain metal comes out through osmosis. In other words, you don't directly chelate the brain. I agree with this theory. --penumbra > > We are using BNC Natural Detxo/Chelation protocol > http://www.brainchildnutritionals.com/Detox_programx.html to chelate > our son(6 yo)in addition to vitamins/minerals. > > We are seeing good continuous improvements with it, but wondering if > anyone has any information on whether NDF+ /NCD cross the brain > barrier to chelate metals from the brain or they just work in the body? > > If they don't - we are ready to add ALA which is known to cross the > barrier to start chelating metals form the brain. > > Regards, > > Vitaly >
Guest guest
What did you use to chelate? From what I've read alpha lipoic acid can cross the blood brain barrier.
