Guest guest
No, Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that exists in eight different forms. Each form has its own biological activity. It is added sometimes to CLO as a preservative. Our CLO (Green Pastures) does not contain E. Caution about E: large doses of vitamin E can interfere with the blood clotting functions of other vitamins, like K. Typically a daily dose of no more than 200IU is recommended for children. Other cautions: " ...There was a big discussion on ABMD entitled " Fish Oil Favorites " that talked about E in CLO. One thing that came up was that apparently a vitamin E that has has a " large " amount of the alpha-tocopherol form without the other 7 forms (especially the gamma form perhaps) is not good, and pushes the gamma form down in the body. And that it takes a long time for it to come back up, although I assume that's without supplementation. " There is more info on this available if someone wants it. > > > > NN contains soy > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: laurad121 > > > I also agree that Nordic naturals is excellent and free of mercury. > Here is the link to their website: > http://www.nordicnaturals.com/en/About_Nordic_Naturals/Why_Nordic_Natu rals/86/ > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
