The school board will vote on a $5.5 Million dollar renovation for Gulf Elementary School in Cape Coral. The renovation includes mechanical, electrical and plumbing updates, as well as possible ceiling repairs. One parent and several teachers tell WINK News they were concerned students were getting sick because of mold throughout the school. The school district says this is a planned maintenance and it has nothing to do with air quality concerns. A company hired by the school district conducted air quality tests and found the air inside the school is better than the air outside.
