Since when is the web less reliable than a book? Books hgave

misinformaiton as well. First I lok for things being sold on a website.

If they are selling ANYTHIG, I take what they say wit a grain of salt.

Then I look to see if it si a publkished study. Medical journals are not

places that publish lies. They are PEER reviewed studies, in other

words, other doctors and scientists have reviewed the results and found

them to be accurate. Then I APPLY common sense. If it quacks like a

duck, walks like a duck, looks like a duck, it IS a duck. You would be

amazed once oyu understand the basics of ho w hormones systems work how

much yo cna throw out as garbage.. even from doctor's websites. Like the

many doctors and veterinarians thta have bluntly stated ot me T3 doesn;t

matter it is T4 thta is important. This is ignorance. If I find ONE

blatantly wrong statement n a sit I may throw out the whole site as it's

logic is wrong.

You can also search for medical research... any of the clinics dealing with CF or RT3 are reputable. F and Fatigue centes, Holtorf Group, etc. Look for medical studies online, especially the Journal of Amer. Med. or British version. I probalby have over 12 books in my posession that deal with these issues.. Would your doc call them quacks too?  Ask him what source you can bring that he will BELIEVE!   sounds like an excuse to bury his head further in the sand.   : ) -Kris What can we say to our doctor when he says there is a lot ofmisinformation when researching on the web?  I know there is but thenhe tends to disregard anything I say if I say I read on theinternet... Also how do we know a site on the web is reliable? Thanks in advance.Venizia-- In RT3_T3 , wrote: I have not found that any books written really go into details abotu Rt3  dominance. I have learned what I knwo through personal experience and MANY hours searching the web for info.--                       Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV                          http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/                     http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ ------------------------------------
