Guest guest
You are 100% right, Quackadillian. It is absolute hypocrisy for ACOEM to feign innocence, put the blame on the evil captains of industry and profess to be turning over a new leaf while allowing the known garbage science of their mold position statement to stand. That mold statement has harmed and continues to harm injured workers as well as others. God have mercy on the flood victims of the Midwest. They are going to be sick just like many injured workers and others before them who have been exposed to mold. But the garbage science of ACOEM will cause their illnesses to be denied as caused by mold. They will, instead be treated with useless allergy medicine and then mood altering drugs for their " emotional distress " while their health continues to deteriorate..because ACOEM writes the rules that mold poisoning " could not be " . And they write this false science because these illnesses are expensive for insurers and employers. God have mercy on us all for allowing this to continue. There is no sign that ACOEM has any real intention of turning over a new leaf. Only that they got caught with their fingers in the cookie jar and are now crying it is not their fault someone put a cookie jar in front of them. The ACOEM mold statement is being used to deny workers comp claims and denial of medical treatment for injured workers for years. It has been brought to their attention numerous times and in numerous ways that their position statement is based on known false scientific methodology. Yet, they allow it to stand and feign innocence while the lives of many are being utterly destroyed because of it. They don't get it both ways. Are they turning over a new leaf? Or have they just been caught with their fingers in the cookie jar AGAIN and are trying to slink off from this one by putting the blame on others while continuing on their merry and wicked ways. _http://www.charlotte.com/local/story/587539.html_ (http://www.charlotte.com/local/story/587539.html) " Our members feel they are being methodically pressured ... to under-treat and mistreat, " said Dr. McLellan, president of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. " ...This is a grave ethical concern for our members. It's a grave medical concern. " No doubt it is a grave medical and ethical concern! But the question is, " Being methodically pressured by who? " Evil doers of industry who have forced these poor doctors to turn their backs on their Hippocratic oath and to lie, cheat and steal from the sick in order to keep their jobs, Mercedes and mansions? Or ACOEM itself, who writes the guidelines ACOEM members can hide behind and teaches occupational doctors how to make money doing defense medical exams denying causation of illness and then more money being defense expert witnesses denying these illnesses on behalf of insurers and employers. It is appalling that ACOEM is being allowed to portray themselves as the victims in this OSHA situation. Within the medical policy writing circles of the US, everyone knows that ACOEM has had much input into what OSHA has allowed to happen. It is nothing more than a dog and pony show to pretend OSHA is going to change one iota unless the fact that the organization of ACOEM itself has had much influence in causing injured workers to not be treated fairly. They are not the victims in the situation. They are the perpetrators. Sharon K cc: Ames , Charlotte Observer
Guest guest
the rollong uterus gathers no moss. that was plain evilness and was a insult to all woman with mold illness or not. those involved in that should be held liable for that piece of trash. we need a major class action filed against all those who have caused mold illness to be denied and caused so many to suffer. this would bring a end to all the bs once and for all. doctors need to be held accountable for not diagnoseing and treating us. it's bs that theres so few that do. how do we go about getting a class action started? any lawfirms with the gits to take it on outthere?
