Guest guest
This is Loyola's medical school curriculum...is the real question - whether they are taught or whether they use it in the " applied " medical sense? & nbsp; And, are they precluded from outside influence from using what they know? & nbsp; 2008© --- En date de : Mar 3.6.08, Objet: LUMEN - Medical School Curriculum Date: Mardi 3 Juin 2008, 10h12 & nbsp;http://www.meddean.luc.edu/lumen/medcurr.htm __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Thanks ginloi, I was intrigued by your question, in your post, below, so I clicked on the link you provided to the Loyola Medical School, to see what I could find out. Though I could not find the answer to your question, I discovered that Loyola makes it possible (unintentionally) for you and I to attend some FREE online classes at their medical school. (1) click on the link in your posting. (2)In the " Clinical Sciences " box of courses, click on " Patient Centered Medicine " . (3)On the page it connects to, click on " PCM 1 Web Page " . (4)On the next page it connects to, find the section " Physical Exam Skills Videos " . (5)Click on " Lung " in the " wmv " mode. (5)Attend class for FREE The last time I got a lung exam THAT good, was about 50 years ago. Don't worry if, as you are clicking on other courses, you get a password protection pop-up box. Just delete the box, and keep shopping for other FREE courses. The " Standardized Patient Interview #1 video " is also good, except that the sound starts getting very low after 5 minutes. So,now that I know how to examine lungs, I need 2 things. First, I have to buy a stethoscope. Second, I have to get a volunteer female " Sickbuildings " member, in the N.Y.C. Metro area to " play doctor " with. I'll let her listen to MY great " Sickbuildings " Lungs sounds, it she will let me listen to hers. Guest guest
That was " wicked " funny as we say here in Boston. It is funny you mention the " free online " thing because I stumbled upon something similar and take some of the CLE stuff, surprising, when I sometimes get a 70%! Play doctor...indeed...you are funny but we are " distance challenged! " I am sure you will find a " talented " student...
