Sandy thank you so much...beleive it or not I had not seen that!

Cytomel (liothyronine) side effects

If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop

taking liothyronine and seek emergency medical attention or contact

your doctor immediately:

an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat;

swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);

vomiting; or

chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or shortness of breath.

I definitely got the hives....pounding heart and some shortness of

breath but I thought it was because I had gone hyper on it.

But would an allergic reaction begin 4 months into the treatment?

I'm sort of scared to keep taking it now. yikes
