Guest guest
Hello! My 5 year old autistic son is having a poop problem (what a shocker - right). He has constant yeast issues and is on Diflucan and that keeps it under control. I am very familiar with what yeasty poop looks, smells like, etc. But, he's been having this other kind of poop that has me puzzled. It is pretty loose, brown, smells kind of acidic and it makes his bum raw. Even makes it bleed if he has enough of these in a day, which when this happens (every so often) he will have 4-6 in a day. It's not a raised rash, like he gets with yeast and it doesn't itch, just hurts. Is this viral or bacterial? Any guesses? Thanks so much!!
