Hi, Jeannie,

sorry to highjack, but Colace is PEG? what are other laxatives are PEG? is Lactulose and Benefiber safe?

Sorry for many questions. I asked the Ped to take my daughter off Miralax and she suggested Colace or Lactulose or Benefiber. I just want to make sure I don't get into another "Miralax"

Thanks!

Jeannie I am so dumb - I knew colace is PEG but not dulcolax. Now I will just throw away whatever I have left.

I did try a large dollar value of Shaklee products including the Herblax but they were not effective for me. I also have allergies to some components of their products. But I will never quit looking,

I have to say Jeannie with my short time on this garbage I still have painful urination at times, trouble with concentrating, teeth issues and trouble going. I can take 6 dulcolax with no results, Milk of Magnesia and Mag Citrate is my only help. I have severe gastroparesis so wonder just how much I actually absorbed.

I'm wondering how many people still see side effects long after taking PEG. How long after, and what they are seeing?

stimming?

hand flapping?

verbal tics? clicking or clucking noises

motor tics?

painful urination?

kidney or urine issues?

trouble concentrating?

aggressive behavior?

sound sensitivity?

weight gain, loss?

growing issues?

broken bones?

teeth issues?

autistic behavior, or tourettes?

Any new diagnosis's?

nightmares?

trouble sleeping?

inability to go........ileus?

My husband can't take products that have certain herbs that are in the weed family, due to allergies. Carol

wow, what happened? Do you know what ingredient it is?

To: miralax Sent: Thu, March 1, 2012 5:01:13 PMSubject: Re: long term side effects

I also tried the EZGest and am still taking it. I had a violent reaction to the Herblax – anaphylaxis.

How about Shaklee EzGest or Ortho Digestzyme? I can't believe the herblax didn't work for you? Is this the one you can't take due to ingredients? or did you actually try it?

Try Calcium Magnesium Liquid by Bluebonnet blueberry flavor.

Also Plum Juice not prune juice. Plum tastes like juice kids like & is not thick like prune juice.

Alos many here use Kid Calm.

Jeannie the doctors believe the reaction was to alfalfa. I will not try any remedy without a doctor and pharmacist approval now because it nearly killed me. They say I could take the EZGest but I am taking it in to my pharmacy as it mentions lactase, I don’t know if that is similar to lactose but I am intolerant.
