Guest guest
Regular wall board is fine for most applications, just not in basements, bathrooms, or by kitchen plumbing, and possibly the walls in the room immediadtely behind plumbing walls. Remember, if you have a flood, the wallboard is not the only problem. The insulation and studs behind the drywall will be wet, and ideal mold breeding material. The drywall or whatever wall material you use will need to be removed. So, the most inexpensive of these products, regular drywall, is quite suitable for most of a house. Date: Sat Jun 7, 2008 5:46 am ((PDT)) What are the best, most cost-effective low mold sheetrock orsheetrock-like products that are not designed for bathrooms orbasements, just all around building use (as a just-in case measure incase of hurricanes, floods, etc.) Are there any that cost out comparatively to what regular wallboardcosts or not too much above, that don't grow mold if they accidentallyget wet? _________________________________________________________________ Search that pays you back!
