Guest guest
Dr. Thrasher, I just read a post from back a few days or so and hit on just the information I am looking for for My brothers child. I just found out that his son has gone through the ringer of diagnosis of ADHD and finlay got a dignosis of being bipolar. Might I mention this child is only 5. Of course my information says this is classic misdiagnosis especially knowing we all have the 4-3-53 strain Shoemaker writes about. I also will add that they are in the military, which I have mentioned before so I am almost possative there has been at least some sort of exposure in the past. But tell me this. Is this even a reallity to diagnose a child so young with this type od disorder and even worse perscribe the medications needed to treat bipolar disorder. My opinion is that this is highly unlikeley. I am hopeing they have or will be joining the group soon as I have just spoke with them recently but you and anyone else on the board that has gone through this situation could really help by sheding some light on this subject again for me. Thanks, Chris
