This link was just sent to me by one who treats patients with brain

injuries. See those with close ties to ACOEM/VeriTox referenced below.

The embattled manufacturers also paid $860,000 to Lees-Haley, an

Alabama psychologist and inventor of a widely criticized test that often

concludes

brain injury patients are malingering. Two consulting firms linked by court

documents to C. Warren Olanow, a Manhattan neurologist who has published at

least a dozen articles cited by defense experts, got almost $2.9 million.

,

Excellent overview of the topic.

I'm giving a talk to a group of insurance related clients. Is it quotable

and if so, how should I reference it?

Doug:

Thanks for your feedback. I will share it with the authors.

Please do not cite or refer to this document until after the Board of

Directors has had the opportunity to vote - 10/27. As you appreciate, this is as

controversial and lititious a subject as any in our field. It would be of

potential embarassment and pain to both the College and the authors if it were

cited before completion and adoption. It was sent to you as a peer reviewer. I

will let you know when it is for public consuption. Thanks for your

understanding.

Absolutely, I realize the process.

I didn't know where along the approval timeline it was.

I appreciate your confidence.

Note: Swift was NOT listed as one of the 101 ACOEM members who were

to originally peer review the mold statement. (although it appears the vast

majority did not participate) He appears to be an after thought, position

sympathetic, " peer reviewer " .
