Guest guest Posted January 20, 2008 Report Share Posted January 20, 2008 Marilyn, Yes, I know what you mean about giving up on the medical profession – I wish there was some way we could jointly get into the med profs face to sit up and take notice. Why so much emphasis on CF, emphysema (usually self-inflicted (sorry anyone out there who did smoke and has emph)) and just about everything else but bronch. WHY?! because we’re just left to quietly and slowly exit this life, no dramatic sudden deaths ...? Self-care is essential, and self-education as well with this one. In this respect I am now thankful for the advent of the internet... When you are sick a lot, it does make you appreciate things much more doesn’t it?
