I was so much better on that. I still take it. My new endo tried to put me on synthroid and I got hives, and needed to lower the dose again. Also retained water on snythroid meds only. This summer I went to an endocrinologist and found out through blood work that I have Hashimotos. I am wondering if there is a specific diet to use to keep my emotions stable.  I don't mind being led via this group to a book or a web site which works.I am also low insulin as well as celiac sprue and allergic to milk. > > Thanks! > > Carole >
Guest guest
Or get a compounding chemist make up your prescription and get what you want put in with it. E.g. mine puts in Non-GMO vitamin C as a filler. Also, you should get tested for Reverse T3, if you haven't been, in case that is also an issue. Not many doctors test for it. Carole, Unfortunately, your endocrinologist is ignorant. Look up Tirosint. Or Evotrox (at least in the UK).
