Consequences After Shunt Failure or Blockage!!!

I was first diagnosed in 1996 with Hydrocephalus and was shunted. Then

ACM1. Shunt had a leak within a year so had y attachment added.

Twelve and a half years later today I got results from MRI and I was

told there is either shunt failure or a blockage. MRI was done cause

severe balance issues and falling last few weeks.

Since first being diagnosed I've had ten plus operations and not sure

if I can deal with another trip to OR. I have apointment on Monday to

discuss operation. I would like to know from some of the members who

has been dealing with such issues or has knowledge, what would be or

might be consequences of not having shunt fixed? Can post here or
