Guest guest
I wrote recently about needing my CINE MRI report 'translated', thank you to all who wrote back... well I saw my NSs today and they basically said they disagreed with the radiologist's report, that there *is* flow both anterior and posterior of the foramen magnum (they even showed me on the screen, but I couldn't really see what they were on about, it all looked very blurry to me). They also said a slight reductionof flow is 'within the bounds of normal'. It is very frustrating when consultants and radiologists disagree like this. Anyway they didn't have much else to say as my symptoms have been stable for just under a year now and I'm not ready for surgery. I have been scheduled for a one-year follow-up. One thing that did worry me though, is that I mentioned I was due to have physiotherapy, and I asked did they have any advice for me as to what movements to avoid etc, and they said 'no not at all' and said it was all fine and there were no exercises I should avoid. This is not what I've been hearing from other sources! I'm glad I've got this resource and can get advice here because according to my NSs I could be doing anything at all and it wouldn't matter... Take care all, Amy (UK)
