Guest guest
Hi Susie, The Rebel is still rebelling, I have a feeling this could go on indefinitely. I hope someday she wisens up and realizes we are not the enemy. I was so very surprised that I had done so well on the A1C, I expected an 8 or a 9, which would have devastated me, and meant I had to take pills again. Has anyone here tried GlucoNorm? Apparently it works a lot like Metformin does, it makes the available insulin work more efficiently. The doctor I saw today said the drug of First Choice is now GlucoNorm or Metformin. Metformin is cheaper so it's prescribed more often. She said glyburide (like I took for the first 3 months) is now old hat. Fine with me, I wasnt gonna go back on that stuff. Elva Dear Elva, It's good to hear from you again. I was just thinking about you last night and wondering how things were going with your " Rebel Without A Clue. " She will somehow, some day, mature and show her appreciation for all you have done ... but that's little consolation for you now. I'm glad your diabetes is doing as well as it is.
