Well, I just got off the phone with the Director of Special Education

for Tyler's school district. I could not believe what I was told.

The chairperson from Tyler's IEP meeting the other day was not a

representative from our district. In fact, no one from our district

knew about the meeting. They have it down that the meeting is on

June 2. They will not accept anything from the meeting I just had

and they are calling Tyler's school now to find out why they had a

meeting for him and did not tell them. When I informed them of what

went on in the meeting, they said they will help me find another

school for Tyler. They will get back to me some time next week.

A few other things I remember now that I have calmed down a bit, the

speech therapist said that Tyler was very congested, that he may have

allergies or need tubes. I guess she did not read his IEP from last

year since it states that he has severe nasal allergies and that he

had tubes in his ears 3 times. He goes on 2 different types of

allergy medication in the spring and it is still not enough. He

still gets the stuffy, runny nose but at least it does not build up

and cause the problems that he has had in the past.

I will keep you all informed about what is happening.
