Guest guest
They don't claim any confidentiality. When you apply for a job, or for insurance, you sign a waiver giving them the right to investigate. Insurnace is a gamble for them. They want to improve their odds by any legal method available to them. On Thu, Aug 7, 2008 at 9:29 AM, barb1283 <barb1283@...> wrote: > If you get sick, they want to eliminate you. Guest guest
*Many sick people who NEED medical care won't be able to afford to see doctors on their own dime. So they won't BE " patients " because " patients " are people who are being seen by doctors. They wont get counted as ill. They wont be able to get better, either. " Problem " " solved " ?* On Fri, Aug 8, 2008 at 10:28 PM, gsgrl2000 <gsgrl2000@...> wrote: > > We definitelt don't need to aid insurers. Aren't they part of the > problem? Guest guest
This is extremely bad news for all Americans. Insurance companies already have way too much power and way too much influence on government. This is another huge invasion of privacy. A lot of insurance company employees don't realize that their privacy rights have been violated for quite some time. Over the past few years, insurance companies have been " offering health screening " to their employees and they typically entice them by offering small discounts on their health insurance premiums. The insurance companies are actually using the results of these health screenings to catalog employees and are tracking this information in huge internal databases. So, if your employer knows that you have health problems, do you think that might affect your raises and promotions??? [] Re: Prescription Data Used To Assess Consumers: Records Aid Insurers but Prompt Privacy Concerns We definitelt don't need to aid insurers. Aren't they part of the problem? This will be bad for patients.
