11 year old son - mold & Lyme and vision distrubances - migraine-like

Hi there,

My son has lyme disease (and probably some coinfections), allergies,

and has had severe mold exposure in his bedroom that we currently

have had addressed (complete exterior wall removal, etc ...).

After he went on a new protocol for Lyme, he began having strange

neurological symptoms including instant migraine-like pain, tunnel

vision, blurred vision, double vision, loss of color vision,

occasionally after simply eating a few bites of foods (that he

tolerated before).

All the eye doctors we've seen have latched onto the fact that he has

a measurable strabismus and are positing that as the cause of all his

eye problems. I remain unconvinced that this is the one cause. His

eye symptoms invariably occur seconds to 1/2 hour after eating - more

like an allergic reaction.

After removing him from the meds, he is still symptomatic. It is as

if his threshhold for reacting to things is very low now - foods,

smells, stress, etc ... .

I am concerned that he is increasingly mold-senstive and with that,

strongly allergic to many foods that are associated with molds. Most

of his symptoms became severe AFTER he was removed from the moldy

room, interesting enough.

Since Marinkovich passed away, does anyone have a good

referral to a doctor or treatment that can work with molds as a

systemic issue?

Thanks very much for any pointers or references.

Deb
