Hi there,

I'm still in a conundrum about what is going on with me. I just feel like I"m getting nowhere. I'm now going down the trail of autoimmune problems. I had a blood test several months ago that included checking for my SED rate. It was at the top end, apparently indicating inflammation, cancer or infection. And noted by the dr. but I never followed up nor did the dr. I also had a blood test several years back that showed positive for Epstein Barr Virus. I don't ever remember being so sick as an adult or teenager that would make me think EBV. I tested negative ANA.

A month or so ago, I stumbled onto this. http://www.lowdosenaltrexone.org/

I feel the same as , in what came first the chicken or the egg. I got cancer for some reason at an early age. Was it toxin exposure, parasites, stress, OR was my immune system weak and then being exposed to "Life" cause my hormones to go out of balance to get the cancer. I'm not buying that "estrogen dominance" thing as the answer. If I had had my hyst and went merrily on my way, I might have but I just can't seem to get back to even sort of feeling good. The WP didn't really cause all this but it did push me over the edge.

Does anyone know anything about the SED rate and what a high number could mean?

SED Rate - 20 (0-20)

Fibrinogen - 259 (174-454)

As always, thanks for any input.

Liz
